What does DuraSilk make?

Which DuraSilk cape is best for color services?
For full liquid protection choose the DuraSilk™ Waterproof Cape (H20 Protect), which is waterproof and bleach, chemical and stain resistant. The Classic Cape DS-110 (H20 Resist) repels water, bleach and stains. See how to choose a salon cape.
What is the difference between waterproof and water-resistant?
Waterproof pieces are built to keep liquid from passing through; water-resistant pieces repel water and splashes. See waterproof vs water-resistant capes.
Are DuraSilk capes and aprons bleach resistant?
Yes. DuraSilk apparel is designed to resist bleach and stains during salon services, and the 2FACED and Mirrored by Marquie pieces are described as bleach-proof. Do not bleach them in the wash. See the bleach-proof apparel guide.
How do I wash DuraSilk apparel?
Wash in cool or warm water on a gentle cycle, tie waist ties in a double bow first, hang to dry or tumble on a low/cool setting, and do not iron or bleach. Never machine dry on heat; it can damage the material or a printed logo. Full details: care instructions.
Do you offer silicone collar capes?
Yes. The Duraluxe Liquid Mocha, Champagne Mist and Black Noir capes have a silicone neck closure for a snug, secure fit.
Do you offer reversible capes and aprons?
Yes, including the Leopard Blossom, 2FACED Leopard Fix and Moulin Rouge reversible capes and the 2FACED and Mirrored by Marquie reversible aprons.
Can I get capes, aprons and robes with my salon logo?
Yes. Order custom branded apparel at durasilkcustoms.com. Logo branding is free and you see an instant mockup of your logo on the product. Nothing prints until you approve the artwork.
What is the minimum order for custom branding, and is there a setup fee?
Minimum order is 3 pieces, and you can mix and match capes, aprons, robes and shirts. Orders under 12 pieces have a one-time $30 setup fee; orders of 12 or more pieces have no setup fee.
Can I return custom branded items?
Custom items are made to order and are not returnable. Size exchanges are offered on non-custom products; see the return/exchange policy.
Do you work with distributors or offer private label?
Yes. Distributors and resellers can apply on the manufacturers and distributors page.
